Umpqua is more than a river, or even a bank.To us, Umpqua is a state of mind, it's an attitude, and a commitment to going beyond banking as usual. Some have called it a revolution in banking. We call it common sense. At Umpqua Bank we don't see any reason why banking needs to be just banking. In fact, we believe that banking can be about a lot of things like reading a magazine, drinking a cup of coffee or surfing the net. We've built our bank by focusing on what's right for our customers, not what is easiest for us. If you say that coming in to see us was the highlight of your day, then we have done our job.
